Assistive Technology Outcomes and Benefits
Professionals
Our Future Vision
The SEAT Center received its initial funding through a federal grant, and is also supported in part by Illinois State University. While it currently relies on external funds to maintain its operations, it is important to obtain support from others to ensure its long-term viability and continue to help people with disabilities.
The SEAT Center Fund
Sustaining the current programs and services of the SEAT Center requires a public-private partnership. While monies from public programs, agencies and grant-giving organizations provide partial funding for the Center, we must rely on the generous donations of private individuals and organizations to complete the work that we do. The SEAT Center Fund, held at Illinois State, is an opportunity for people interested in making a contribution to the Center.
The SEAT Center will continue to develop innovative assistive technology training approaches and programs, and create partnerships that result in systems change that make a real difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. It is time to influence and educate others across the country and throughout the world. With your help, our dream of access and participation for all will become a reality.
