The SEAT Center offers a series of Support Clinics to students and other members of the ISU Community. Support clinics are designed to assist individuals with becoming familiar with various technologies and learning the basics of how to use them.

The following is a list of support clincis are being offered for the Spring 2010 semester. Please click on the day and time of the support clinic for which you would like to register.

WIndows Movie Maker

In the Windows Movie Maker Support Clinic, attendees will learn about how to make their own movies and see different educational applications related to using movies to support student learning in the classroom.

VoiceThread

In the VoiceThread Support Clinic, attendees will gain an understanding of the different uses of VoiceThread, which enables people to have vitrual conversations around pictures and video. Educational applications will be shared.

Clicker 5

In the Clicker 5 Support Clinic, attendees will learn how to use the templates to create rich and interactive activities for students. Clicker 5 allows students to interact with content an write with a click of the mouse.

PowerPoint Talking Books and Interactive Lessons

In this Support Clinic, attendees will learn how to use PowerPoint to create mulitmedia talking books and interactive lessons with PreK - 12 students.

BoardMaker with Speaking Dyanmically Pro

In the Boardmaker with Speaking Dynamically Pro Support Clinic, attendees will learn how to create dynamic communication systems and interactive activites for students.

Intellitools Classroom Suite 4

In this Support Clinic, attendees will learn how to use the templates within ICS 4 to create interactive lessons on a wide range of subject areas.

Kurzweil 3000

The Kurzweil 3000 Support Clinic will offer attendees the opportunity to convert printed text into accessible and scaffolded reading experinces for students.

SOLO Literacy Suite

The SOLO Literacy Suite Support Clinic will explore the applications of this software to help scaffold and support the writing process for students.
